FUND-RAISING & SPONSORSHIP

West Oxford Animals Rescue Centre is always in need of  fund-raisers, sponsors and volunteers, to help in the many areas of animal rescue, including the ever-escalating costs of our veterinary bills : so, please, if you can help us in some way, to give to the rescued animals the life they deserve, do get in touch.

Donations, of any amount, however small, are always most welcome, to aid our vital work.   Cheques, made payable to West Oxford Animals Rescue Centre, should be sent to us at 18 Sweetmans Road, Oxford, OX2 9BA.   If you would like to make regular monthly or annual payments, via your bank, please e-mail us, at woarc.org@gmail.com, giving your name, address and telephone number, for a standing order form.

Leading youth charity The Duke of Edinburgh's Award gives all young people, aged 14 to 21, the chance to develop skills for life and work, fulfilling their potential and leading to a brighter future.   Find out more, about doing your DofE volunteering with us, and supporting our charity.

Call Janet, on 01865 438128 (after 4.30pm)

FOSTERING

We need volunteers, who can offer love and a temporary home, to a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, until we can find it a permanent home.   This may be for a matter of days or weeks (occasionally, months, if it proves difficult, to match an animal with a home that meets its needs, or if it is recovering, from an illness or an operation).   Fostering is extremely rewarding, and a great option, if you want to spend time with an animal, but without the lifelong commitment.  If you think that the role of fosterer is one to which you might be suited, we would love to hear from you (telephone number as above).

EYNSHAM CHARITY SHOP

We are constantly on the lookout for volunteers, to help, on a regular basis, in the shop, sorting, pricing and selling donated goods, and greeting and serving customers.

If you are interested, please call Nicky, on 01865 236166 (between 10.00am & 4.00pm).
